Adobe is making the Flash Player 11 Release Candidates available for downloads at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer11.html. They provides binaries for MS Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, both in 32 bit and 64 bit. The 64 bit Linux version can run directly in a 64 bit browser without any compatibility layer.

Installation

To install the plug-in on Linux for Firefox:

1. download the plug-in.
2. extract the tar.gz in a temporary directory.
3. copy the .so file in the mozilla plugins directory:
   cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/.
4. restart Firefox.
